Job Summary

This role involves overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and experience managing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to ensure effective financial management and compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare management reports, forecasts, budgets, and analysis for senior management.
  • Manage and monitor the company's financial performance, providing regular reports and analysis to the senior management team.
  • Conduct financial analysis and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports in compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
  • Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimize financial resources to support operational needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Operations, and HR, to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions, to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and maintain positive relationships.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, financial regulations, and best practices to proactively identify opportunities and mitigate potential risks.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is desirable.
  • At least 3 years' experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, preferably in the Hospitality sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
  • Proficient in financial software. Knowledge of Quickbooks is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated integrity, ethical conduct, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
