About the Company:
A newly formed joint venture between a leading Indian manufacturing company and an Italian partner, specializing in high-end manufacturing products. The JV is backed by a 1000-million-euro Italian firm and focuses on expanding its global footprint from its base in Pune.
Job Objective:
To lead the financial strategy, operations, and compliance for the joint venture. The CFO will be responsible for setting up the financial structure of the new entity, ensuring alignment with both Indian and Italian standards, and coordinating with the Italian partner on financial reporting and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead financial operations for the joint venture in collaboration with Italian partners.
Ensure compliance with both Indian and international financial standards.
Develop and implement financial policies, budgets, and cost controls.
Lead the implementation of SAP HANA for the new entity.
Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth and expansion.
Manage reporting to both Indian and Italian stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
Coordinate with Italian board members on financial planning and execution.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Chartered Accountant (CA) with 10+ years of experience in financial leadership roles.
Strong experience in manufacturing, ideally within a promoter-driven environment.
Has international exposure or experience in cross country joint ventures or a MNC.
Proven experience in setting up financial operations for new entities.
Strong understanding of both Indian and international financial regulations.
Familierity with SAP HANA ERP systems or any large ERP system.
Exceptional communication skills, preferably with exposure to Italian language or culture.
Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of financial controls, compliance, and business strategy.
Must-Have Selection Criteria:
Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of experience in Manufacturing Industry
Experience in MNC or MNC joint ventures or international finance, particularly with European companies.
Proficiency in SAP HANA and international financial reporting standards.
Strong stakeholder management, including working with foreign boards.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Capability to manage the function independently
