Assistant Sales Manager

The Assistant Sales Manager will support the Sales Manager in achieving sales targets, developing new business opportunities, and managing relationships with clients in the freight forwarding industry. The role involves maintaining excellent client relationships, and promoting the company's services to attract new business with growth and profitability.
Roles & Responsibilities: -
Assist the Sales Manager in developing and executing sales strategies to meet company goals.
Generate, Qualify & Nurture Leads through sales process and convert them into accounts.
Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales target for self; and
projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
Work according to company strategy and guidance from management team to identify potential
business fitting Jetspeed’s Sales criteria.
Visiting Existing, new and assigned clients on regular basis to develop relationship & increase
business volume and support client on service levels and any other client requirements.
Assist with client negotiations, ensuring deals align with company objectives and profitability.
Provide training and mentorship to junior sales team, guiding them in best practices and client
interactions.
Maintain activity log in Customer relationship management (CRM) software & prepares/ submits
all required reports in an accurate & timely manner.
Achieves the annual growth targets (Revenue, Profit, Volume) as defined in the budget, must be
capable of closing business independently.
Collecting payments in a timely manner from clients, as per the credit lines approved & following
Company Credit policy and other policies diligently.
