Assistant General Manager / General manager – IT


Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Lead the IT team and provide strategic guidance for all IT-related initiatives
  2. Design and implement scalable systems and processes to support the company's growth trajectory
  3. Oversee IT procurement and vendor management to ensure cost-effective and reliable technology solutions
  4. Drive digitisation efforts across the organisation, streamlining manual processes, and introducing innovative IT tools and be hands on with hard ware.
  5. Implement and scale ERP systems to support the company's operations and growth
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and execute IT innovation opportunities.
  7. Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations
  8. Evaluate and recommend technology investments to support the company's long-term growth goals
  9. Develop and mentor IT team members to enhance their technical skills and capabilities
  10. Engage with senior management to align IT strategies with business objectives



Qualifications Required 

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA is a plus 
  2. Immediate joining or buy back of notice period is a must.
  3. Should have minimum 15 years of relevant work experience 
  4. Proven experience in a systems engineering or IT leadership role, preferably with a general contracting construction company or a similar industry
  5. Strong understanding of construction industry processes and IT requirements.
  6. Experience in managing large-scale IT projects and navigating complex technology landscapes
  7. Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor an IT team, driving collaboration and innovation 
  8. Hands on Hardware experience with experience in dealing with tech hardware vendors efficiently. 
  9. Proficiency in evaluating and implementing IT solutions, including enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, project management tools, and cloud-based technologies
  10. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
