Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Linux Monitoring and Backup Engineer located in Wadala. The engineer will be responsible for monitoring the Linux infrastructure, managing backups, ensuring system availability, and maintaining system performance. Daily tasks will include configuring monitoring tools, troubleshooting system issues, implementing backup strategies, and optimizing server performance. The role will also require collaboration with other IT teams to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Linux administration and configuration
  • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix)
  • Strong understanding of backup solutions and strategies
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python)
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work effectively on-site in Wadala
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., RHCE) are a plus
