Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive AWS Cloud Engineer to join our growing tech team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure and applications on AWS, with a focus on AWS Light sail, Docker, and scalable, secure deployments. This role demands hands-on experience in cloud architecture, automation, and containerization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions using AWS services including EC2, S3, Light sail, Lambda, RDS, and VPC
  • Build, deploy, and manage Docker containers and containerized applications
  • Utilize AWS Light sail for quick and cost-effective deployment of web applications, websites, and lightweight workloads
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployment using tools like Code Pipeline, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in cloud and container environments
  • Ensure best practices for security, backup, and disaster recovery are in place
  • Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and security teams to align infrastructure with application

  • Optimize cloud costs and usage, particularly on Light sail vs. EC2 environments
  • Stay up to date with AWS and container technologies to suggest new tools and approaches

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline
  • 1+ years of experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Experience deploying and managing workloads on AWS Light sail
  • Strong understanding of Docker and containerized application deployment
  • Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments and scripting languages like Bash or Python
  • Knowledge of networking, security, and DNS within AWS (e.g., VPC, IAM, Route 53, etc.)
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certification (Solutions Architect, SysOps, or Developer – Associate or above)
  • Familiarity with container orchestration (e.g., Docker Compose, ECS, or Kubernetes)
  • Experience with Lightsail Blueprints, snapshots, and scaling
  • Knowledge of web server setups (e.g., Apache, NGINX) in Lightsail instances
  • Experience with Git, version control workflows, and Agile methodologies

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹155, ₹1,051,355.06 per year
