We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Web Developer with extensive experience in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager (GTM), and Shopify. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our e-commerce platforms, ensuring seamless integration of web analytics and marketing tools.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Web Development

Design, develop, and maintain e-commerce websites on the Shopify platform.

Implement responsive and visually appealing front-end designs.

Customize Shopify themes and templates according to business requirements.

Develop and integrate custom Shopify apps as needed.


  • Google Analytics and GTM:

Set up and configure Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for accurate data tracking.

Create and manage tags, triggers, and variables in GTM.

Implement advanced e-commerce tracking and conversion tracking.

Analyze web traffic and user behavior using Google Analytics to provide actionable insights.


  • Optimization and Testing:

Conduct A/B testing and multivariate testing to improve website performance.

Optimize website speed, performance, and user experience.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to website functionality and analytics tracking.


  • Collaboration and Reporting:

Work closely with marketing, design, and product teams to implement website changes and new features.

Provide regular reports on website performance, user behavior, and marketing campaign effectiveness.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Web Developer, with a strong portfolio of Shopify projects.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify’s templating language).
  • In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Experience with SEO best practices and tools.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other e-commerce platforms (e.g., WooCommerce, Magento) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of server-side languages such as PHP, Ruby, or Python.
  • Certification in Google Analytics and/or GTM.
  • Understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools.
