Job Overview:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Web Designer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing visually appealing and user-friendly web interfaces, along with a strong understanding of graphic design principles. As a Graphic Web Designer, you will collaborate with developers, marketers, and other stakeholders to create engaging and effective digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Web Design:
  • Design and develop visually compelling web pages and user interfaces for websites, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas.
  • Collaborate with the development team to implement and refine web designs.
  • Graphic Design:
  • Produce high-quality graphics, logos, and visual elements for web and digital use.
  • Design marketing materials, including banners, social media graphics, email templates, and other promotional content.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all web and graphic designs.
  • User Experience (UX):
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve design solutions.
  • Apply user-centered design principles to create intuitive and engaging interfaces.
  • Ensure designs are optimized for a variety of devices and screen sizes.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, content creators, and marketing specialists.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance overall design and user experience.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Utilize graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and web design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma).
  • Implement web designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a focus on responsive design.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web and graphic design.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Graphic Web Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing web and graphic design projects.
  • Experience working in an IT or digital environment is preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Proficiency in web design tools and frameworks (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD).
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
