Key Responsibilities:

  • Website Design and Development:
  • Design and develop websites ensuring strong optimization and functionality.
  • Create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers to develop site features.
  • Maintenance and Updates:
  • Regularly update and maintain the company's website.
  • Ensure the website is up to date and accurately reflects the company's brand and message.
  • Monitor and resolve website performance issues such as speed, uptime, and security.
  • Content Management:
  • Manage web content and ensure it is current and relevant.
  • Work with the marketing team to incorporate SEO best practices into web content.
  • Implement and manage content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Joomla, etc.
  • Technical Support:
  • Provide technical support related to web-based systems to internal departments.
  • Troubleshoot website issues and coordinate with the IT team for resolution.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
  • Monitor website traffic and performance metrics.
  • Prepare regular reports on website performance and recommend improvements.
  • Compliance and Security:
  • Ensure compliance with web standards and accessibility guidelines.
  • Implement security measures to protect websites from cyber threats.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Design, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Proven working experience in web programming and development.
  • Strong portfolio of web design and development projects.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages.
  • Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
  • Knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Familiarity with SEO principles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Certifications:
  • Relevant certifications in web development, design, or related areas are a plus.
