Sales management
Achieve country sales targets at desirable share of markets.
Control country expense within approved allocated budget.
Provide direction to facilitate goal setting process in line with BU & CM.
Monitor progress; measure results; reward incentive payments; performance appraisals
Select, interview, lure new recruits to the sales team.
Provide in-field coaching, follow-up training to support skill-based training and develop subordinates to facilitate succession planning
Control and monitor implementation of sales strategies and tactics and provide feedback and market intelligence to Marketing Department & BU.
Maintain contact with key accounts; identify opportunities for corporate marketing and cultivate as appropriate
Effectively communicate with all levels via meetings, written communications and one-on-one communication
Interact and work with management/ employees to promote teamwork
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative requirements, policies and procedures and serve as a role model to all employees by demonstrating full support of occupational health, safety and environmental programs.
Develop and assist the sales force in achieving their sales targets through ongoing field coaching, training programs (sales and product), sales meetings, regular 1 x 1 communications, and appropriate reward and recognition.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through the appropriate allocation of sales territories and monitoring representative activity reports and through strategic contact with key customers, associations and Government representatives.
Develop and manage the expense budget within plan regularly monitor performance.
Authorize and submit representative claims in a timely fashion.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Graduate/ Post-Graduate in a science, business or management discipline or equivalent
Minimum 3 years as a first line manager with strong sales track record - preference for successful sales team management.
Comprehensive industry knowledge.
Essential Skills, Experience, and Competencies
Appropriate gravitas for the seniority of the role but also hands-on
Excellent understanding of ethical sales & marketing.
Strategic planning and budgeting skills. Good financial and business acumen
Knowledge of distribution channels and systems
Knowledge of forecasting and production related issues
Strong leadership qualities and strong interpersonal, motivational and influencing skills.
Excellent communication skills, Fluency in English both written and oral
