The Business Development Manager position involves finding new growth opportunities for the company and forming strategic partnerships that open up new markets. The role is responsible for finding new customers or growing existing customer relationships by generating revenue through strategic partnerships, marketing efforts, and other activities that create value for the organization.

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is the point of contact for a new potential client for providing information on the products and services the company provides. The role entails market penetration, increasing customer base through Key Accounts, increasing revenue generation, and expanding product coverage.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Plan and oversee new business development and marketing initiatives.
  • Research for organizations to find new opportunities and forecast requirements that initiate new business.
  • Identify key accounts and influencers to enhance business opportunities. Initiate and develop relationships with potential influencers.
  • Contact potential clients in order to establish rapport and set up meetings.
  • Consult and suggest the products' USP to the clients.
  • Present the product portfolio to the clients and share Product Specification & Budgetary Proposal.
  • Track & map competition and analyze best practices.
  • Support the BD Head in future strategy planning and SWOT analysis.
  • Build relationships and engagement with customers, key stakeholders, and influencers.
  • Advise and educate clients and influencers such as builders and engineers by providing expert knowledge of products and services.
