Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Desktop Support professional to join our team at Gig Workplace. As a Desktop Support, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to our employees. This is a full-time position based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in desktop support.

Qualifications and Skills

1 to 3 years of experience in desktop supportStrong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systemsProficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issuesFamiliarity with network connectivity and protocolsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and take ownership of tasksStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsRelevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) are a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheralsInstall, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and software applicationsDiagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely mannerMaintain inventory of IT equipment and ensure its proper functioningManage user accounts and permissionsMonitor and respond to IT support ticketsEducate and assist employees with technology-related queriesCollaborate with the IT team to implement and support IT infrastructure projectsFollow IT policies and procedures to ensure data security and system integrity
