As a Principal Consultant, you will anchor the engagement effort for assignments, all the way from business process consulting and problem definition to solution design, development and deployment. You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution and guide teams on project processes, deliverables. As a thought leader in your domain, you will be the key advisor to architecture and design reviews. You will anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, in-house capability building. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Location for this position is primarily Bangalore. This position may require travel and/or relocation, but exceptional cases can be considered for working from onsite/offsite with few travels to the different customer locations.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.2. At least 15 years of experience with Information Technology.

Required Skills

Must have at least 10 years in the commercial airlines business and IT or travel industry with strong airline focus. Must have deep understanding of any of the business areas of the airlines in the commercial, network planning, operations, revenue management, passenger services, passenger experience, airport, Cargo, MRO, area with breadth of knowledge across the airline business areas.

Should have at least 8 years of experience in business analysis, requirements management and business change management for large organizations

Experience in conceptualization of large solutions and working with the technical teams for building solutions/proof-of-concepts

Should have experienced in leading large RFP/RFIs and producing quality solutions and also leading the discussions with the client

Well versed in requirement elicitation, creation of use cases and user stories, business process documentation (“as-is” and “to-be” processes), process maps and creation of business solution

At least 10 years of experience in lead roles and program management roles managing the whole business transformation programs and translating business needs into requirements then into actions, including process modeling, creation of other visual models, business rule capture, user stories, use cases, functional requirements, and capturing user acceptance criteria

Experience in bundling service backlog items into implementable initiatives at the Scrum and Sprint backlog level, supporting the product owners and Scrum teams in the understanding of initiatives/scrum feature contents

Should have developed detailed service requirements, requirements scope, use cases, and user stories as needed, and work with Business Analysts at the Scrum level to ensure implementation of those

Ideal to have experience in building industry solutions based on the trends and business changes

Strong in communication and interpersonal skills and should be comfortable in deep level discussions with the senior business and leadership of the clients.

Should possess deep airline/travel industry knowledge and should be able to ramp up fast in newer domains

Should act a thought leader and with always updated with the industry trends enabling as well as supporting the sales and client facing executives.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
