Job Description

We’re looking for an Operations Specialist to join the Procore team. In this exciting opportunity, you’ll ensure everyone has the information they need by owning the ongoing governance of a knowledge base system, including its overall health and best practices. You will make important decisions around information architecture, technology, and the overall structure and use of our knowledge base system. 

As an Operations Specialist , you’ll partner with key stakeholders across the company to develop, audit, and maintain high-quality content for Product and Technology. You will create guidelines for what information is captured and by whom, how it integrates with the rest of the tech stack, and how to keep it from growing stale. Use your expertise in content management, information architecture, and strategic planning to maintain consistency at a global scale and align the content strategy with the company’s vision. You will play a significant role in the development of a successful and effective knowledge base and will have a direct impact on employees day to day.

This position reports to our Manager, P&T Portfolio and will be based in our Bangalore office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

  • Define the HR knowledge management strategy for our knowledge base and maintain high-quality, up-to-date, and searchable content for audiences of varying skill levels
  • Develop and implement a knowledge management philosophy
  • Encourage a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaborative workflow among departments and project teams
  • Ensure that stakeholders know the knowledge management processes and that the right knowledge goes to the right people
  • Leverage analytics to evaluate business impact, track the usage, define the efficiency of the knowledge base content, and report findings/recommendations to stakeholders
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of authors from each department to follow established guidelines and implement the right way to spread information
  • Establish writing guidelines based on knowledge base best practices and develop the team to ensure they are achieving or surpassing them
  • Work effectively across the organization with stakeholders, change management, service teams, trainers, curriculum developers, and subject matter experts to develop and support new and existing processes

What we’re looking for: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience working with systems such as Airtable, GitHub, Workday, Smart Recruiter, and Visier
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
  • Strong business writing and oral communication/presentation skills
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong relationship-building skills in order to acquire the trust of business partners and leaders
