Please do not contact the recruiter directly.The Incident Management Content Fixer (Full Time) is responsible for resolving prioritized curriculum incidents across a variety of courses for grades K through 12 by developing & correcting content, collaborating with SMEs on content accuracy, processes, and standards, and executing editorial standards and protocol for all core, offline, and elective courses (lessons, assessments, multimedia, and ancillary materials).Core Tasks and Responsibilities:Updates existing content to new formats in line with documented design requirementsPrepares online courses for release by updating course structure and metadataRevise content in proprietary LMS to resolve prioritized bugs, defects, and customer-reported incidentsSolve a variety of complex problems; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of informationUnderstand the capabilities and limitations of the available authoring and development tools to implement resolutions to problemsImplements curriculum changes according to editorial style, including diversity, equity, and inclusion standardsKey Relationships:Works closely with Global Incident Management and Product Delivery in support of high-quality K-12 virtual learning experiencesCollaborates with content Subject Matter Experts to develop a comprehensive and consistent academic programMaintains effective relationships within own and related areasTraining/Competencies:Helps to ensure the quality of the tasks and advice provided by self and othersComfortable learning and using multiple proprietary software systems to manage contentSolves problems by identifying and selecting solutions using acquired technical expertiseMust be capable of developing and implementing multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlinesContinually explores and advocates for new ways of improving our existing services and productsEducation, Skills, and Experience:Bachelor's degree in technology, education, or comparable experiencePrevious experience with content incident management preferredExperience in curriculum development preferred, including the development of digital productsAble to provide excellent customer service to a variety of stakeholdersAble to quickly learn, organize, and utilize informationProven track record of thriving in a fast-paced, high-performing environmentStrong prioritization skills and attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated desire and ability to successfully collaborate within a fully virtual teamBasic HTML and web skills essentialKnowledge of Microsoft and Google business applicationsFamiliarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Education Management Systems (EMS), or other similar content management systemsCompensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York State, New York City, Vermont, Washington State, and Washington DC laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:The full-time salary range is between $60,000 - $70,000.This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program, and information on benefits offered is here.Applications will be accepted through November 30, 2025 .
