The candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for walk-in and phone-based customers, providing detailed product information, resolving queries, and ensuring a seamless service experience. This role is critical in maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction in a premium jewellery environment. Key Responsibilities Greet and attend to walk-in customers with a friendly and professional demeanor. Handle customer inquiries via phone, WhatsApp, or in person regarding products, prices, offers, and services. Assist customers in navigating product options (gold, diamond, silver) and support the sales team during peak hours. Coordinate with billing, inventory, and sales teams to provide accurate information to customers. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, orders, and feedback. Follow up with customers for feedback, repairs, or custom orders. Manage complaints effectively and escalate unresolved issues to the showroom manager. Ensure the front desk and reception areas are neat, organized, and customer-ready. Support online orders, invoice generation, and customer registration processes, if applicable. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling customer data and payment information. Essential Qualifications Graduate or Diploma in any discipline (preferred). Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, preferably in retail, jewellery, or luxury sectors. Fluency in Tamil and English (spoken and written); Hindi is an added advantage. Skills Required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, billing software, CRM tools). Customer-centric attitude with patience and a problem-solving approach. Ability to multitask and work under pressure during peak business hours. Attention to detail, especially when handling customer requirements and order details.
