Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retentions Associate Manager with a strong background in Cybersecurity and B2B client management. The role involves building trusted relationships with enterprise clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving renewal and retention strategies to maximize long-term value.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive client retention strategy across B2B cybersecurity accounts.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at client organizations.
- Conduct regular account reviews to ensure client satisfaction, product adoption, and alignment with business objectives.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with sales teams to capture them.
- Analyze churn risks, implement proactive retention measures, and resolve escalations effectively.
- Work closely with product, compliance, and cyber risk advisory teams to align solutions with client needs.
- Monitor key account health metrics (renewal rate, NPS, churn %) and create action plans for improvement.
- Stay updated on cybersecurity industry trends, compliance regulations, and competitor offerings to position Mitigata's solutions effectively.
- Mentor and support junior team members in client engagement and retention practices.
Key Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in B2B client retention, account management, or customer success, preferably in Cybersecurity, SaaS, or Risk Advisory services.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions, compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC2, HIPAA, etc.), and enterprise risk management.
- Proven track record of managing client renewals and reducing churn in a B2B environment.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to handle escalations and drive resolution.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar).
- Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, and technical teams.
- MBA or equivalent degree in Business, Marketing, or IT Security is a plus.
