Job Title - Onboarding Specialist

Work Location: Chennai – AMBITExperience – 3+ Years & Working from Office

WHAT YOU SHOULD DOWelcoming newly hired employees and executing the engagement plan throughout the onboarding journey; managing the

, ensuring a great experience for new employees and a smooth start into their roles.Identifying innovative and creative new ways to onboard new employees/reach a more scalable and measurable onboarding experienceCoordinate with hiring managers and HR to initiate background checks for new hires.Communicate with candidates to obtain necessary information and permissions for background verification.Liaise with external background check vendors to ensure timely and accurate completion of screenings.Review background check reports for completeness and accuracy.Address any discrepancies or issues identified during the background screening process.Ensuring compliance with all processes and maintaining a high level of confidentiality at all times.Challenging status quo and proactively identifying process improvements.Deliver audit support on personal files, forms, etc.Manage and maintain the inbox dealing with employee queries and escalating to the correct team contact where necessaryCoordinate with support functions for BGV clearance, new hire laptops, accesses, payroll setups etc.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)A graduation degreeProficiency in MS Office (Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Knowledge of experience in Global HR Operations3+ yrs of relevant work experience in a professional services or multi-national companies

ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONYOU SHOULD BEService-oriented, flexible and able to work under pressure with amazing attention to detailsStructured way of working, able to multitaskDemonstrates accountability, ownership and ability to handle confidential informationFlexible to support the team to cater to a diverse, international set of stakeholders.
