Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced, dynamic, and technically strong professional to lead the end-to-end manufacturing operations of our
packaging plant
located in Prithla, Palwal, Haryana. The ideal candidate will be an
IIT or NIT alumnus
with a strong track record in
manufacturing excellence
,
plant operations
, and
team leadership
in the
packaging or related process industry
(flexible packaging, rigid packaging, paperboard, plastics, laminates, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:
1. Plant Operations & Manufacturing Excellence

• Lead day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant to meet quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
• Drive productivity improvement initiatives across production lines (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, TPM).
• Ensure optimum utilization of man, machine, and materials.
• Lead shift-wise planning and monitor operational KPIs (OEE, Yield, Downtime, Rejection Rates, etc.).

2. Team Leadership & Development

• Manage and mentor cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, quality, and stores.
• Promote a performance-driven culture with accountability at all levels.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance across the plant.

3. Project Management & Capex

• Lead capital expenditure projects, installation, and commissioning of new machinery and automation lines.
• Liaise with OEMs and technology partners for capacity expansion, energy efficiency, and modernization initiatives.

4. Quality, Compliance & Audits

• Ensure compliance with ISO, FSSC, GMP, and other regulatory standards relevant to the packaging industry.
• Interface with internal/external auditors, customers, and statutory bodies.

5. Supply Chain & Vendor Coordination

• Collaborate with SCM & procurement teams for raw materials planning and vendor development.
• Monitor and reduce inventory holding costs without affecting production continuity.

6. Cost Optimization & Continuous Improvement

• Analyze cost drivers across the plant and implement cost reduction programs.
• Identify and eliminate process bottlenecks to improve throughput and quality.

Candidate Requirements:

• B.E./B.Tech from
  IIT/NIT
  in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or related fields.
• Minimum
  10 years of experience
  in
  manufacturing operations
  , with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong exposure to
  packaging industry
  or similar process-intensive industries (plastic packaging, laminates, rigid/flexible packaging, etc.).
• Demonstrated expertise in
  Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, and Kaizen
  .
• Experience handling medium-to-large teams and managing multi-functional departments.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and leadership skills.
• Willingness to be based full-time in
  Prithla, Palwal, Haryana
  .
