Job Title: SMS Routing & Procurement ManagerPosition Details: Designation: Assistant Manager / – Routing & Procurement

Location: Gurgaon

Job Summary As an SMS Procurement Manager at GTS, you will play a crucial role in managingand developing relationships with SMS carriers to ensure the smooth operation ofSMS services. You will be responsible for negotiating and maintaining carrieragreements, optimizing routing, monitoring performance, and driving revenuegrowth through effective carrier partnerships. This position requires strongcommunication, negotiation, and analytical skills to excel in the fast-paced SMSindustry.

Job Description:1. Carrier Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with SMScarriers, including negotiation and execution of agreements, pricing, andservice level commitments.2. Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze carrier performance metrics,ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and qualitystandards. Identify and address any issues or discrepancies promptly.3. Routing Optimization: Optimize SMS routing and delivery based on carriercapabilities, network performance, and cost-efficiency. Continuously assessand improve routing strategies to maximize deliverability and minimizelatency.4. Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Stay updated with local andinternational regulations governing SMS communications. Ensure carriercompliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including privacy anddata protection.5. Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities to expand SMS services throughcarrier partnerships. Collaborate with sales and business development teamsto drive revenue growth by leveraging carrier relationships and exploringnew market opportunities.6. Industry Monitoring: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities,and emerging technologies in the SMS and telecom sector. Provide insightsand recommendations for business strategy and product developmentbased on market intelligence.7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such asOperations, Product, and Engineering to align carrier requirements,troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure seamless integration of carrierservices.8. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports and presentations on carrierperformance, key metrics, and business insights. Provide recommendationsfor performance improvements and cost optimization based on dataanalysis.9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, andlegal, to identify procurement needs, specifications, and requirements.10. Monitor and analyze market trends, prices, and supplier performance toidentify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement.

11. Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations, addressing any issues ornon-compliance with established agreements.

Key Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Telecommunications, or a related field/MBA in operation, Marketing. Additional relevant certifications or qualifications area plus.Experience: 3-6 years’ experience in carrier relations, telecom, or messagingindustry, preferably in SMS services.

Key Skills • Strong understanding of SMS industry dynamics, including routing, carrier

interconnections, and industry regulations.• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build andmaintain relationships with carriers.• Familiarity with SMS platforms, protocols (SMPP, HTTP, etc.), and telecomnetwork infrastructure.
