Job Description

Holidaytribe is seeking an experienced IT Administrator to support and secure our growing tech infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in security controls, asset management, and patch management, particularly in fast-paced, startup environments.


Key Responsibilities:


  • User Management: Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and organizational units via the Google Admin Console, Setting up and customizing Google Workspace apps (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet, etc.) for the organization, including branding and security settings.
  • Email Configuration: Configure email routing, domain settings, and troubleshoot email delivery issues, including SPF/DKIM/DMARC setup.
  • Security: Implement 2FA, manage DLP policies, access controls, and monitor audit logs for security compliance.
  • Collaboration Tools: Manage Google Drive, Docs, Meet, and Calendar configurations to optimize team collaboration and troubleshooting issues related to them.
  • Troubleshooting: Providing help desk support and troubleshooting sync issues for users experiencing issues with Google Workspace apps, including Gmail, Drive, Calendar, and Meet, Configuring mobile device management (MDM) for managing employee devices (smartphones, tablets) to ensure they comply with company security policies.
  • Data Backup and Restoration:  Implementing a data backup strategy for critical files stored in Google Drive, and knowing how to restore data if necessary.
  • Technical Support: Provide help desk support for Workspace apps, resolve sync issues, and manage device compliance with MDM.
  • Integration & Automation: Integrate Workspace with third-party tools and use Google Apps Script for task automation.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Configuring domain settings, including MX records for email routing, domain verification, and understanding DNS settings related to Google Workspace, Understanding storage management, including Google Drive storage limits, Shared Drive allocation, and how to monitor and manage storage across the organization.


Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Google Admin Console and Workspace tools.
  • Experience in security policies, DLP, and role-based access controls.
  • Knowledge of DNS, MX records, and API scripting is a plus.
