Job Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager for our pharma division at Mithros Chemicals Pvt Ltd. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying potential clients, establishing first contact, and driving the sales pipeline. This role requires strong market research skills, a proven track record in the chemistry CRO industry, and excellent communication skills in English.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree / Masters Degree in Chemistry or related field
  • 4-6 years of experience in business development or sales in the chemistry CRO industry
  • Proven and successful track record in a similar role
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Front-end sales skills with the ability to persuade and negotiate
  • Strong market research skills and experience with investigating and harvesting relevant business databases
  • Proficiency in working within a professional company's IT infrastructure
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Conduct desktop-based research in defined business areas/market segments
  • Identify potential clients and establish first contacts (cold contact)
  • Create a constant flow of leads, feeding the sales pipeline according to KPIs & goals
  • Work within a professional company IT infrastructure
  • Use market research skills to investigate and harvest relevant business databases
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance business development strategies
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to stay updated on market trends
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients
  • Negotiate and close business deals
  • Maintain long-term relationships with clients and ensure customer satisfaction
