Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Technical Sales Manager for our Printing Ink division. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of raw materials used in ink formulation, lab testing procedures, and application methods. In addition to technical expertise, the candidate must have strong sales acumen and the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with potential and existing customers.

Note- Candidates from Sales, Marketing, or Business Development backgrounds with knowledge of printing ink raw materials can also apply for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and select raw materials for printing ink formulations.
  • Able to Perform lab testing and analysis to ensure product quality and suitability.
  • Understand and manage the input-output ratio of materials for optimal production.
  • Provide technical support to the customers.
  • Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding customer base.
  • Regularly meet with clients, understand their requirements, and offer tailored solutions.
  • Conduct technical presentations and product demos for potential clients.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales goal and improve market share.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and industry innovations to stay ahead.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, PG Diploma in Printing Technology / Ink Technology or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales or application engineering in the printing ink or chemical industry.
  • Excellent understanding of raw materials (resins, pigments, solvents, additives) and their behavior in ink formulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer relationship-building skills.
  • Target-driven with a proven track record in sales and business development.
  • Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, product trials, and industry events.
