Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Head to join our client with expertise in software sales, software services sales, and solution sales specifically targeting manufacturing companies in India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth and developing strong client relationships in the software industry, with a strong connect at the CXO level. Additionally, this role will involve leading a team of sales professionals.


About Client: Our client spans wide array of cutting-edge practices and technology stacks, including AIOPs, Observability, Digital Transformation, and AI-Powered Application Modernization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and engage potential manufacturing clients to promote software solutions and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities within the manufacturing sector.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet sales objectives.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in software sales/ software services sales, or solution sales.
  • Proven experience in selling to manufacturing companies is a must.
  • Strong understanding of the software industry and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong connections with CXO-level executives.
  • Experience in leading and managing a sales team.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
