Job Title: Sales Engineer Industrial Piping
Location: (Surat, Gujarat)
Department: Sales – Projects & Industrial Solutions
Reports To: Head of Sales / General Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and technically sound Sales Engineer – Industrial Piping to support the business development and sales efforts of industrial piping solutions. We are the authorized dealers for AirNet in Gujarat, Maharashtra & Madhya Pradesh. The candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities, engaging with clients, preparing technical-commercial proposals, and achieving defined sales targets. A good understanding of piping systems, process industries, and project sales is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits, technical discussions, and client meetings to understand project requirements.
- Prepare and present quotations, technical submittals, and commercial offers.
- Negotiate and close sales orders in line with company policy.
- Collaborate with design and execution teams to align on customer expectations.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
- Provide post-sales support including coordination for delivery and execution.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Any Discipline or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in technical sales of industrial piping systems, valves, or related industrial equipment.
- Knowledge of piping standards, materials, and applications in various industries will be added advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and P&IDs.
- Proficient with MS Office, AutoCAD basics, and CRM software will be added advantage.
