Role/Title

Practice Director – Production Planning / Manufacturing

Primary Skills/expertise

·Must be a graduate in engineering and/or related disciplines.

·Good hands-on experience in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA preferably in manufacturing. Need to have good functional value streams integrations understanding. Need to have understanding about reducing efforts by adopting automations / productivity improvement / reusable solutions. Have an overall understanding about SAP ECC to S/4HANA Conversions, S/4HANA fresh implementations, S/4HANA innovations etc.,

·In depth understanding in SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA based end-to-end manufacturing processes

·Ability to provide solutioning and provide responses to large RFPs.

·Project Management/Delivery Management Experience – AMS, Roll-out, Upgrades, New implementations

·12-15hrs of experience in SAP Functional space

·Minimum 5 years of working experience in Manufacturing or any other industry

Preferred skills/expertise

·Ability to articulate why S/4HANA, RISE with S/4HANA etc., topics. In depth conceptual understanding about other modules of ECC, S/4HANA (QM, PM, MM,SD,PM etc.,),

·Functionalities understanding about SAP Applications such as IBP, Ariba, SAC, CX,HXM, BTP and IoT Platform is preferred.

·Last 3 – 4years in similar capacity preferably in an Indian Tier 1/2 or Global Tier 1/2 company offering similar services.

·Might have guided and led manufacturing competency developments

·Has clarity of thought and must be able to communicate complex functional concepts to senior business executives & CXOs in a lucid and persuasive manner.

·Always finds a way to win, achieve objectives and milestones, through strong leadership, excellent execution. Also, whenever necessary, through hands-on demos preparation, experimentation etc.,

·Persuasive presenter with demonstrated talent in establishing relationships over emails, phone and in person.

·Proven track record in performance-based engagements

·Must be open for business travel to Birlasoft and their prospects/customers offices across geographies.

Role & Responsibilities

·Drive solutions of SAP Manufacturing functionalities from our focus Verticals perspective.

·Provide Thought Leadership, Proposal – solutioning, estimation, responses and orals for net new and delivery led opportunities.

·Develop and update Point of View for new technologies/functionalities areas in our chosen Verticals and for selected application portfolio.

·Evangelize BSL’s S/4HANA Solutions.

·Support the sales organization and verticals in identifying and developing new business opportunities for Business Transformation services.

·Work closely with BSL’s – Functional/Technical/DSC/BD&A Practices etc., Sales, Delivery, Marketing, Alliance teams to refine value propositions based on market and industry intelligence in order-to-cash areas.

·Build solution offering plans in response to the ever-changing technology, market and industry expectations.

·Must be self-starter, energetic and committed to build significant business growth plans.

·Experience on consultative selling and leadership selling will be most important.

·Must drive closure of new business deals.
