Role overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Category Growth Executive to lead and execute

strategies for expanding our product categories and driving revenue growth. The successful

candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive strategies to enhance market

share, optimize product offerings, and achieve financial objectives. This role requires a blend of

strategic vision, market insight, and cross-functional collaboration.



What you'll do:

1. Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement growth strategies for assigned product categories.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive insights.
  • Set and manage category growth targets, budgets, and performance metrics.


2. Market and Competitor Analysis:

  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.


3. Sales and Revenue Enhancement:

  • Design and execute initiatives to drive sales and revenue growth, including promotional activities, product launches, and strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align category strategies with sales objectives and ensure effective execution.


4. Product Development and Optimization:

  • Work closely with product development teams to ensure product offerings meet market demands and align with growth strategies.
  • Evaluate and recommend adjustments to product features, pricing, and positioning to optimize category performance.


5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of category growth initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive category-specific projects and campaigns.


6. Budget and Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets for category growth activities, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control.
  • Monitor financial performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on progress towards growth targets.


7. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Track and analyze category performance metrics, including sales, market share, and profitability.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and recommendations.


What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in category management, product management, or a similar role with a proven track record of driving growth.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong drive for results.
  • Creative and innovative thinker with a passion for driving growth and improving performance.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
