Purpose :
Lead field team and assist Head - CCF in implementing better extension model for “Farmer Connect”.
Realignment of territory and Farmer/ Ginner base as per the change in model of operation.
Ensuring implementation of CCF cluster formation / seed variety coordination with Seed Team.
Data Ownership – traceability of agricultural operation from seed – agronomic practices – harvest – procurement – logistics – dispatch to Ginning/ Yarn units.
Establishment of win-win model for farmers/ process partners/ textile units
Lead Agronomy interventions to improve yield (HDPS) & ROI of farmers.
Promote mechanization for HDPS planting.
Application base traceability lead of your area – compliance of all field data.
Ensure documentation of terrain wise entries & MIS reporting for the territory through end users’ hand-held devices.
Lead/ Develop/ Sustain – capability of CCF team & channel partners to ensure 100% target & process improvements.
Prepare operational budget for the region/ season in collaboration with Head CCF.
Identify / create / develop / grow / sustain new as well early areas of Argo-contacts/ farming pockets.
Ensure discipline amongst partners/ suppliers/ effective administration and implementation of policy COC.
Own and drive the Safety agenda – in the territory (field/ road)
People Accountabilities:
Lead the relationship building with local government officials & administrative officers drawing strategic alliance for business sustainability.
Ensure discipline amongst partners/ suppliers/ effective administration and implementation of company policy.
Counseling and coaching to farmer members and growers on best farming practices.
Build relationship with ginners and identify potential new ginners / associations/ NGOs etc. to mitigate the growing requirement with specific quality norms.
Motivate all stakeholders on better technology acceptance.
Mentor peers & new-comers ------ for smooth sync to the system.
Understanding, supporting and resolving problems of other team members
Monitor and ensure compliance of plan vs actual
Learning continuously and upgrading own abilities.
Seeking feedback from team members and seniors.
Experience & Qualification :
Education: Graduate/ PG in Agriculture/ Supply Chain.
Functional Experience: Min. 2-3 years of experience.
Language: English & Telegu must. Knowing Hindi preferred
At least 2-3 years of hardcore agriculture In-Put sales / procurement / supply chain experience in a sales / manufacturing / processing set up.
Proven experience of dealing with farmers, traders, negotiation, selling, collaboration, agricultural departments & state agricultural policy.
Experience of dealing with local government authorities, suppliers, transporters, farmer unions.
Preference -Textile Industry only.
