These partners help us understand the importance of quality early childhood care and education and have in-depth knowledge of the dynamics of the community they work with to address the agenda of change the project wants to bring about.
To know more please visit at: who can help for the role – Oversee quality monitoring, evaluation activities, and maintain quality report writing and project implementation and would be responsible for coordinating and implementing the monitoring, evaluation and learning framework. This will include assisting the MEL Lead and Assistant Lead in developing MEL frameworks, appropriate metrics for impact (both short-term and long-term). The coordinator will be solely responsible for translating the MEL framework into a clear and actionable plan for the program team, gathering quantitative and qualitative evidence to regularly monitor progress, and report the insights for program progress and challenges.
Key responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the following tasks to advance the overall goals of MEL Coordinator:
·  Ensure proper data collection, entry, and project data interpretation.
· Field visits and cross-checking evidence such as photos, registers of field supervisors, meetings with stakeholders, beneficiaries, etc.
· Writing monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly reports of the Project.
·  Ensure team members have quality data, photos, videos, case studies, and technical support.
·   Attend the monthly meeting to plan and review the project.
·   Coordinate with the Quality Assurance coordinator to develop a mechanism for ensuring proposed activities are executed smoothly.
·   Ensure daily reporting to the Project Manager.
·   Technical and capacity building training.
·   Maintain quality data and reports and coordinate with the MIS Coordinator.
·   Day-to-day quality monitoring and execution plan and avoid data discrepancies.
·  Mentor the implementation team on data quality management, build the capacity of the team, and monitor to ensure results.
·   Support the Project Coordinator on ground management & implementation of the proposed plan.
·   Responsible for collating and documenting all reports and materials produced by the M&E. Also be responsible for maintenance of reports and other relevant documents.
·   Undertake such other assignments, which may be assigned from time to time.
Experience and qualification:
·       Master's degree in rural development/Any relevant discipline or equivalent.
·       Expertise in statistical tools.
·       A certificate in MEL would be an added advantage but not compulsory.
·       Minimum 1-3 years’ experience working in health and nutrition projects in the development sector.
·       Knowledge of the key monitoring and evaluation methodologies (eg. pre-post, qualitative, quantitative, mixed-method, and impact assessment etc.), data collection and analysis methodologies are preferred.
·       Knowledge of the subject of migration and labor rights and entitlements is preferred.
·       Experience in designing and managing beneficiary monitoring and database systems.
·       Good understanding of large-scale surveys, data analysis, and report writing.
·       Capacity to produce reports and prepare graphic presentations.
·       Self-starter who will thrive in a growing organization by taking ownership and initiative.
