
Business Development Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth, build strategic partnerships, and identify new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering value to clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities to achieve revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key partners, clients, and stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies and plans.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Product, Sales, Operations) to align business development efforts.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals that promote long-term relationships and profitability.
- Track and report on KPIs, sales pipeline, and business growth metrics.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to represent the company and generate leads.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience (2–3+ years) in business development, sales, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of market research, sales principles, and negotiation techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in (Industry-Chemicals etc.)
- Existing network of industry contacts and decision-makers.
- Understanding of digital marketing and lead generation tools.
