Duties & Responsibilities -
Strategic HR Leadership:
and implement HR strategies that support the plant's overall objectives and drive employee engagement, productivity, and retention.
with plant leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
strategic guidance on talent management, succession planning, organizational development, and workforce planning.
Industrial Relations:
and sustain positive relationships with labour unions, fostering open communication channels and collaborative partnerships.
negotiations during collective bargaining agreements, advocating for the organization's interests while ensuring fair treatment of employees.
and implement strategies to resolve labour disputes and conflicts effectively, promoting a harmonious work environment.
Employee Relations:
a positive work environment by promoting open communication, conflict resolution, and a culture of respect and inclusion.
employee relations issues promptly and effectively, ensuring compliance with company policies, labour laws, and regulations.
Investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and disciplinary matters as needed.
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:
recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates for various roles within the plant.
the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization and alignment with job expectations.
Performance Management:
performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms to drive employee development and accountability.
coaching and support to managers in conducting performance reviews and addressing performance issues proactively.
Training and Development:
training needs within the plant and coordinate the delivery of relevant training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
career development initiatives, including mentorship programs, leadership development, and succession planning efforts.
Compensation and Benefits:
with corporate HR to ensure competitive and equitable compensation and benefits programs for plant employees.
compensation data, market trends, and benchmarking studies to make recommendations for salary adjustments and incentive programs.
HR Compliance:
accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation in accordance with legal requirements and best practices.
statutory compliance and responsible for complying with statutory requirements under various Labour laws (including compliances under Factory act -1948.
with local industrial Enforce Management guidelines by preparing, updating and recommending human resources policies and procedures.
Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH}-
Lead the Employee engagement and welfare and Internal Complaints Committee (under Prevention of Sexual Harassment}.
Change Management Culture:
Nurture positive work Responsible to lead all change management efforts for the plant in terms of Integration, Harmonization and various other change management topics.
Responsible for maintaining discipline across the Plant taking appropriate disciplinary action as and when required.
