We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with 10-15 years of expertise in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, specializing in fermenters, sterile vessels, and other critical bioprocessing equipment. This is a high-impact role with travel across India and internationally, offering the chance to expand our global market presence. Key Responsibilities

Global Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for fermenters, sterile vessels, bioreactors, and other bioprocessing equipment in Indian and international markets.
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand market share.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, procurement managers, and R&D heads in the pharma and biotech sectors.

Sales & Technical Consultation:

  • Provide expert advice and solutions on equipment design, selection, and optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory standards.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless execution of multi-region projects.
  • Manage project timelines and quality control.

Market Research & Competitive Intelligence:

  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities globally.
  • Leverage insights to adjust business strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Travel:

  • Extensive travel across India and internationally to meet clients, attend trade shows, and explore new business opportunities.

Sales Reporting & Performance:

  • Achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Provide regular reports on business performance, pipeline developments, and emerging market opportunities.


Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 10-15 years of business development or sales experience in the pharma and biotech industries, specifically in selling bioprocess equipment (e.g., fermenters, sterile vessels, bioreactors).
  • Demonstrated success in global business development and market expansion, with a focus on both India and international regions.
  • Strong understanding of local and international regulatory environments and customer needs in pharma and biotech.

Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with experience engaging C-level executives.
  • Proven project management skills to oversee complex, multi-region projects.
  • Ability to effectively translate technical concepts into customer-focused solutions.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across India and internationally for client meetings, trade shows, and business development activities.
