The role of Manager- Finance is to handle the financial affairs of all business verticals of AASRCPL. This role involves managing financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and risk management. The Finance Manager will work closely with the executive team and the MD to make strategic financial decisions and drive profitability.


Key Responsibilities:



1. Financial Planning and Analysis:


  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.



2. Budgeting and Cost Management:


  • Manage the budgeting process, including annual budget preparation and variance analysis.
  • Implement cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Responsible for developing budgets and financial forecasts based on cost data.
  • Collaborate with other departments to establish achievable financial targets and monitor actual costs against budgeted figures.



3.Cost Control and Optimization:

  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities and improving operational efficiency.
  • Analyze cost trends, assess cost variances, and recommend measures to reduce costs, eliminate waste, and improve process efficiency.


4.Cash Flow Management:


  • Monitor cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for daily operations.
  • Manage working capital and cash flow projections.


5. Accounting and Financial Reporting:


  • Oversee the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and review financial statements.


6. Taxation and Compliance:


  • Manage tax planning and compliance, including income tax, GST, and other applicable taxes.
  • Ensure timely filing of tax returns and adherence to tax laws.


7. Risk Management:


  • Identify financial risks and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain insurance coverage to protect the company's assets and liabilities.


8. Treasury and Banking:


  • Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  • Optimize banking services, investments, and credit facilities.


9. Audit and Internal Controls:


  • Coordinate external audits and work with auditors.
  • Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.


10. Decision Support:

  • Provide financial data and analysis to support decision-making at various levels of the organization.
  • Contribute to business cases, cost-benefit analyses, investment evaluations, and other strategic decisions.


11. Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Prepare cost reports, provide cost-related information for financial statements, and support audits or reviews of cost records.



12. Team Management:

  • Supervise and mentor finance department staff.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.



13 . Budgeting and Financial Planning:

  • Takes care of the financial planning and budgeting for the managing director and family. b. Monitor income and expenses, and identify any areas where the family can save money or spend more wisely.


14.Bill Management and Record Keeping:


  • Manages bills and payments for the managing director and family, ensuring that payments are made on time and to the correct vendors.
  • Maintain records of all financial transactions such as receipts, invoices, bills etc.



15.Investment and Portfolio Management:

  • Responsible for managing investments, portfolio management, and working with financial advisors or investment managers to maximize returns on investments.



16.Tax Planning and Compliance:

  • Administer tax planning and compliance for the managing director and family, including making sure all the required forms are filled, taxes paid on time, necessary deductions are taken, and other tax-related responsibilities.



17.Financial Reporting:


  • Provide regular financial reports to the managing director and family members. These reports include the summary of income, expenses, investments, assets and liabilities.
  • These shall be used to track spending trends, identify areas of savings, and manage financial risk.



Qualifications and Skills

  • Masters' degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field .
  • Professional certification such as CPA or CMA.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the Indian manufacturing sector.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.


Working Conditions:


  • This is a full-time position, typically based in a manufacturing environment.
  • Interaction with various departments and teams within the organization.
