Job Title: MEP ProcurementAssistant
Responsibilities: Assist the MEP Procurement Manager in sourcing negotiating andpurchasing materials and services for mechanical electrical andplumbing systems. Maintain and updateprocurement records including purchase orders supplier contractsand inventory levels. Collaborate withproject managers and MEP engineers to understand projectrequirements and ensure timely procurement of necessarymaterials. Evaluate and compare supplierquotations to secure the best pricing and quality for materials andservices. Coordinate with suppliers toensure timely delivery of materials resolving any issues related todelays or discrepancies. Assist in preparingand maintaining procurement reports including cost analysis andbudget tracking. Conduct market research toidentify new suppliers and evaluate their capabilities andreliability. Ensure compliance with companypolicies and industry standards in all procurementactivities. Support the negotiation of termsand conditions with suppliers including pricing delivery schedulesand payment terms. Assist in managingsupplier relationships to ensure ongoing quality and reliability ofsupply.
Requirements: Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineer. Previous experience inprocurement preferably within the MEP(mechanicalelectrical plumbing)industry. Strong understanding ofprocurement processes and best practices.Excellent organizational and time management skills with theability to handlemultiple taskssimultaneously. Strong analytical andproblemsolving skills. Proficiency inprocurement software and tools (e.g. SAP Oracle MS OfficeSuite). Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to workeffectivelywith suppliers and internalteams. Attention to detail and accuracy inmaintaining procurement records.PreferredSkills: Familiarity with MEP materials andequipment. Certification in Procurement orSupply Chain Management (e.g. CPSM CSCP) is aplus. Experience with contract negotiationand supplier relationshipmanagement.
