Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Asset Management with Desktop Support position located in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining IT assets, providing technical support for desktop systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth operation of desktop systems within the organization.
Qualifications
Proficiency in asset management tools and desktop support technologies
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Experience in maintaining IT inventories and ensuring compliance with IT policies
Knowledge of operating systems, networking, and security protocols
Ability to work well in a team and independently in a fast-paced environment
Relevant certifications in asset management and desktop support are a plus
Asset Management: Candidate must be aware of Asset Life Cycle & management of IT Assets.
Operating System Installation: Install and configure operating systems on desktops and laptops.
PC Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on PCs.
Part Replacements: Perform hardware part replacements, including hard drives, memory, and other components.
Data Wiping: Securely wipe data from devices in compliance with company policies and standards.
Ticket Management: Track and manage support tickets in the queue, ensuring timely resolution.
Training: Provide training and guidance to Level 1 engineers to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
