Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Performance Marketing Specialist to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of hands-on experience in managing paid search and social media campaigns, with deep expertise in Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other key advertising platforms. This role demands a strategic thinker with a strong proficiency in data-driven marketing, ready to deliver measurable results and optimize performance across various digital channels.

This role is for a seasoned professional who is fully proficient in performance marketing tools and strategies, capable of managing and resolving issues independently, and effectively supporting client needs from the outset.

Paid Search:

  • Campaign Strategy & Execution: Develop, execute, and optimize search campaigns across Google Search, Display, YouTube, and Performance Max (PMax) to maximize reach and ROI.
  • Keyword & Audience Targeting: Implement and refine keyword strategies and audience segmentation to capture high-intent traffic and improve campaign relevance.
  • Bidding & Ad Formats: Manage AI-driven bidding strategies (Target ROAS, Target CPA) and optimize ad formats, including Responsive Search Ads (RSAs) and Demand Gen formats like Discovery ads.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee campaign management across multiple accounts and brands, ensuring efficient implementation, scheduling, and ad rotation.
  • Troubleshooting & QA: Act as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting issues, managing and resolving discrepancies between reporting systems, and ensuring the quality of ad creatives against site specifications.


Paid Social:

  • Platform Management: Develop, execute, and optimize paid social campaigns across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, Twitter, , and Snapchat, ensuring each platform is leveraged effectively.
  • Targeting & Creative Strategy: Utilize advanced targeting techniques, including custom and lookalike audiences, while collaborating with the creative team to develop compelling ad creatives tailored to each platform.
  • Cross-Platform Consistency: Implement and oversee cross-platform campaigns to maintain consistent messaging and maximize audience engagement.
  • Bidding & Optimization: Manage bidding strategies, troubleshoot creative issues, and continuously optimize campaigns to improve key performance metrics such as engagement, CTR, and conversions.
  • Campaign Management: Handle the implementation, scheduling, and rotation of ads within online advertising and social media campaigns, and track campaign status to identify and resolve delivery issues.


Google Analytics (GA) Management:

  • Event Tracking & Goal Setup: Define, implement, and manage event tracking and conversion goals within Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to accurately measure user interactions and key conversion points.
  • Account Integration: Seamlessly connect GA4 with Google Ads, social platforms, and other marketing tools to enable comprehensive performance tracking and attribution analysis.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Regularly audit and resolve data discrepancies between GA4 and other reporting tools to ensure accurate performance measurement.
  • Custom Reporting & Dashboards: Create and maintain custom reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights, focusing on campaign effectiveness, user behavior, and conversion performance.
  • Optimization & Troubleshooting: Measure and optimize campaigns using GA4 and vendor-specific dashboards, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and ensure that campaigns meet delivery and KPI objectives.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Client Liaison & Collaboration: Liaison with clients and agencies for campaign setup, tracking, deliverables, and maintenance communications; collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.
  • Process Improvement: Stay current on key developments in the digital advertising space, recommend and build new processes to support changing industry needs, and create and maintain digital operations processes for efficiency.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Regularly review reporting data for quality assurance, optimize ad delivery to reduce costs, and provide documentation to ensure nothing is missed across multiple concurrent campaigns.
  • Accountability & Forecasting: Take overall accountability for planning, forecasting, delivery, and growth of profitable campaigns, maintaining a target and KPI-focused approach.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience managing paid search and social media advertising campaigns, with a proven track record of delivering measurable results.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Ads (including Performance Max, Responsive Search Ads, and Demand Gen formats).
  • Proficient in Meta Ads Manager, Ads, TikTok, Twitter, and Snapchat advertising platforms.
  • Deep understanding of Google Analytics 4 (GA4), including event tracking, goal setup, account integration, and troubleshooting discrepancies.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional data interpretation and analytical skills, with the ability to conduct in-depth performance analysis and translate insights into actionable campaign strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex technical information in a clear, concise manner to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
