Job Title: Business Head – Group of SchoolsLocation: Bangalore / Mumbai / ChennaiDepartment: Leadership & OperationsAbout the Company:We are India's leading chain of K-12 schools, managing 125+ campuses nationwide. Our mission is to provide quality education and holistic development opportunities for students. As we expand, we are looking for a dynamic and strategic Business Head – Group of Schools to oversee the P\&L and operations of a zone comprising 4-15 schools.Job Summary:The Business Head – Group of Schools will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of operations, sales, and academics within their zone. This role demands strong business acumen, operational expertise, leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing large teams. Prior experience in school operations is highly desirable.Roles & Responsibilities:Lead the P\&L for a zone comprising 4-15 schools, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.Oversee day-to-day school operations, driving efficiency, compliance, and excellence in service delivery.Lead, mentor, and manage large cross-functional teams across operations, sales, and academics.Develop and implement strategies to achieve student enrollment targets and retention goals.Ensure high academic standards and foster a culture of continuous improvement.Monitor key operational, financial, and academic metrics to ensure zone-wide performance is aligned with organizational objectives.Collaborate with central functions (HR, Finance, Marketing, Curriculum) to implement policies, processes, and best practices across schools.Manage relationships with key stakeholders including parents, community leaders, and local authorities.Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.Drive innovation and implement initiatives to enhance the overall student and parent experience.Key Requirements:MBA from a top tier instituteProven experience in managing large educational operations, preferably across multiple schools or branches.Strong leadership skills with experience managing large, diverse teams.Solid understanding of school operations, sales management, and academic processes.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.Data-driven approach to decision-making with a focus on continuous improvement.Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience in handling K-12 school operations.Exposure to managing P\&L and driving revenue growth.Experience working in large educational chains or networks.
