As a Senior-level role, this full-time position requires an individual with 7 to 10 years of experience. The Placement Officer will be instrumental in bridging the gap between academia and industries, ensuring successful campus recruitments and fostering strong relationships with industry partners. Qualifications and Skills Preferably from the Engineering Degree is required. Experience in working with Engineering College as a full-time Placement Officer is must. Recruitment Strategies (Mandatory skill): Expertise in developing and implementing effective campus recruitment strategies. Industry Networking (Mandatory skill): Excellent networking skills to build strong connections with industry leaders and recruiters. Relationship Building (Mandatory skill): Proven ability to establish long-term relationships with companies and industry professionals. Career Counseling: Ability to provide guidance and counseling to students regarding career opportunities and job search strategies. Campus Recruitment Management Systems: Proficiency in using and managing campus recruitment software and tools. Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information succinctly. Event Coordination: Experience in planning and executing recruitment events, job fairs, and campus hiring initiatives. Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to assess recruitment trends and improve the placement process through data-driven insights. Roles and Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive campus recruitment strategies in alignment with industry trends. Build and maintain strong relationships with industry leaders and recruiters to foster employment opportunities for students. Coordinate and manage on-campus recruitment activities, including job fairs, workshops, and guest lectures. Provide career counseling services to students, assisting them in making informed career decisions. Utilize campus recruitment management systems for efficient planning and execution of placement processes. Analyze placement data to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to stakeholders. Collaborate with academic departments to align course offerings with current industry requirements. Represent the college at networking events, conferences, and meetings to enhance industry connections.
