Ability to lead the team.Roles and ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning & Leadership:Lead a team of 10+ members, collaborating with cross-functional teams (Brand, Finance, and Sourcing) to drive key merchandising and strategic decisions that impact the Business P&L.Drive strategic projects across functions to improve key business processes.Financial Planning & OTB Management:Manage Open to Buy (OTB), sales, and inventory at the brand/category level, ensuring merchandise targets are met monthly, quarterly, and annually.Build and execute seasonal buy plans, including Merchandise Financial Plans and Assortment Plans, to guide key buying decisions.In-Season Management & Forecasting:Participate in weekly and monthly in-season forecast and OTB meetings.Carry out the monthly planning process to realign sales and intake plans as needed.Performance Analysis & Insights:Perform comprehensive performance analysis (Category, Product, Stores & Aging) and take necessary actions based on findings.Monitor assortment health across key metrics and drive corrections to maximize conversions.Analyze slow/fast-moving inventory and provide insights for business actions.Collaboration & Demand Planning:Work closely with Brand, Finance, and Sourcing teams to build bottom-up demand plans for the portfolio across key financial metrics.Regards,Diljin Shaji
