The University has baccalaureate concentrations, postgraduate offerings, doctoral degree programs, and several professional certificate programs. · Job Title : Director - Career Planning & Development · Job Location : Bengaluru, India · Educational Credentials : Any Postgraduate degree or equivalent. · Work Experience : 10 - 15 years of prior relevant experience. · Language Preferences : English, Hindi, and any other regional languages. · Notice Period : Candidates who can join immediately will be given preference. · Salary : Best in the industry The Director - Career Planning & Development is primarily responsible for Reviewing academic practices, policies, and initiatives associated with the Department to ensure that they promote a culture of diversity and inclusion and meet the needs of the diverse student populations. Roles & Responsibilities Develop an annual professional development plan that will ensure awareness of trends, best practices and new information related to student life, student involvement and activities, student advising, along with diversity and inclusion practices. Ensure implementation and monitoring of extra-curricular / co-curricular courses under the purview of the Department of Student Services Plan and introduce new/additional extra-curricular / co-curricular courses for the benefit of Students. Overseeing recruitment of new students and management of student clubs, organisations and research centres. Supporting student clubs by arranging funding, facilities, equipment, and manpower for their activities. Envisage Holistic Personality Development programs like skills development and soft skills development and implement the same. Provide leadership training for student organizations during the academic year. Develop and monitor and develop Personality Development programs. Review and update current practices and policies regarding student discipline and administration. Incorporate policies and procedures in accordance with laws and regulations. Guide, direct and participate in serious academic related disciplinary processes, including student suspensions and expulsions. Write policies of extra-curricular / co-curricular courses as required ensuring program consistency. Ensure understanding and implementation of UGC / Government of India Notifications & regulations. Ensure on-time review of reports and records pertaining to Students Academic, Co-curricular & Personality Enhancement Work in tandem with other vertical heads of DoSSS Skills Required: Strong commitment to and demonstrated skills for working with a diverse student and offering diverse and inclusive campus activities; Experience in handling emotional and psychological issues of students. Knowledge of and experience with budget preparation and management; Ability to lead and motivate students Good administrative & operational skills. Ability to organize and direct multiple activities simultaneously; Working knowledge of MS Office. Excellent communication skills.
