About the team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Community Engagement: Foster a supportive, inclusive, and welcoming environment both online and offline where members feel valued and respected.
  • Event Planning and Execution: Plan and execute a diverse range of events, including workshops, meetups, conferences, and virtual sessions, ensuring that the experiences are cohesive and interconnected across all touchpoints.
  • Promotion and Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to promote community events and initiatives through various channels, maximizing reach and participation.
  • Member Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for community members, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly to ensure a seamless experience across both online and offline interactions.
  • Feedback and Improvement: Monitor community feedback and sentiment from both online and offline activities, using these insights to continuously improve the overall community experience.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Analyze engagement metrics and provide regular reports to stakeholders on community growth, engagement, and sentiment across both online and offline platforms.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Proven experience managing offline community events, preferably in a startup or tech-focused environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and a genuine passion for creating community experiences.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to drive community growth and engagement.
  • Experience with event management tools and platforms is a plus.
  • Familiarity with product and engineering concepts is desirable but not required.


A plus if you also have:

  • 2+ years experience, ideally in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Experience in Ed-tech/learning community
  • Passion in learning and growing
  • Understanding of communities, cohort-based learning, and new features coming on the platform
  • Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop a hypothesis
