Key Responsibilities:As a Design and Development Engineer, you will:CAD Modeling & DrawingsCreate precise 3D CAD models, detailed part and assembly drawings, and comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM) to support manufacturing, testing, and assembly processes.Product DevelopmentLead the full lifecycle of product development, including design, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, and implementation.Analysis & OptimizationAnalyze and test existing products to identify opportunities for improvement in performance, cost, and sustainability.Prototyping & ResearchDevelop and build functional prototypes, perform rigorous testing, and integrate user feedback into design iterations.Project ManagementPlan and execute projects by creating budgets, timelines, and workflows to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality outputs.Collaboration & InnovationWork closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineers, Designers, and Project Managers, to brainstorm and implement creative solutions.Regulatory ComplianceEnsure all designs meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.Continuous ImprovementResearch market trends and competitor products to propose innovative enhancements and stay ahead in the industry.
Role Requirements:We are looking for a highly skilled and driven individual who possesses:Technical ExpertiseStrong knowledge of 3D modeling and machine design with a solid understanding of engineering principles.Proficiency in
SolidWorks
is essential; knowledge of other CAD tools will be an added advantage.Manufacturing KnowledgeHands-on experience with manufacturing processes such as turning, milling, welding, and sheet metal fabrication.Analytical & Problem-Solving SkillsAbility to identify design challenges and develop innovative, practical solutions.Project Management SkillsProven experience in managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and ensuring seamless coordination with stakeholders.Creative ThinkingCapability to think outside the box, propose novel ideas, and contribute to the company’s vision of sustainability.Collaborative MindsetExcellent communication skills and a willingness to work collaboratively across disciplines.Adaptability & InitiativeEagerness to take on challenging tasks and adapt to the dynamic needs of a fast-growing organization.
Educational and Experience Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in
Mechanical or Production Engineering
or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.2–3 years of professional experience in mechanical design and development, with expertise in 3D CAD modeling, product lifecycle development, and manufacturing processes like turning, milling, and welding.
