Key Responsibilities:
As a Design and Development Engineer, you will:
CAD Modeling & Drawings
Create precise 3 D CAD models, detailed part and assembly drawings, and comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM) to support manufacturing, testing, and assembly processes.
Product Development
Lead the full lifecycle of product development, including design, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, and implementation.
Analysis & Optimization
Analyze and test existing products to identify opportunities for improvement in performance, cost, and sustainability.
Prototyping & Research
Develop and build functional prototypes, perform rigorous testing, and integrate user feedback into design iterations.
Project Management
Plan and execute projects by creating budgets, timelines, and workflows to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality outputs.
Collaboration & Innovation
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineers, Designers, and Project Managers, to brainstorm and implement creative solutions.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure all designs meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Continuous Improvement
Research market trends and competitor products to propose innovative enhancements and stay ahead in the industry.
Role Requirements:
We are looking for a highly skilled and driven individual who possesses:
Technical Expertise
Strong knowledge of 3 D modeling and machine design with a solid understanding of engineering principles.
Proficiency in Solid Works is essential; knowledge of other CAD tools will be an added advantage.
Manufacturing Knowledge
Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes such as turning, milling, welding, and sheet metal fabrication.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
Ability to identify design challenges and develop innovative, practical solutions.
Project Management Skills
Proven experience in managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and ensuring seamless coordination with stakeholders.
Creative Thinking
Capability to think outside the box, propose novel ideas, and contribute to the company’s vision of sustainability.
Collaborative Mindset
Excellent communication skills and a willingness to work collaboratively across disciplines.
Adaptability & Initiative
Eagerness to take on challenging tasks and adapt to the dynamic needs of a fast-growing organization.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2–3 years of professional experience in mechanical design and development, with expertise in 3 D CAD modeling, product lifecycle development, and manufacturing processes like turning, milling, and welding.
