General Manager

Job Title : Resort General Manager Location: Orissa Reports to: MD Overview: Our Client is a Mid Segment Beach Hotel in Orissa ; Owned by a Hospitality Group committed to delivering exceptional Guest Experiences. We are currently seeking a highly motivated General Manager to lead a Beach Resort with 40 Rooms and 2 Restaurants, Spa offering a unique blend of comfort, relaxation, rejuvenation..

Responsibilities

· Oversee all aspects of Resort/Hotel Operations, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, guest satisfaction, and financial performance. · Lead a team of dedicated professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to maximize their potential and foster a positive work environment. · Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth, increase occupancy rates, and improve profitability. · Establish and maintain strong relationships with guests, vendors, and local authorities to ensure seamless operations and adherence to regulatory requirements. · Monitor and control expenses, budgets, and financial reports, taking appropriate action to achieve financial targets. · Implement and enforce policies, procedures, and quality standards to maintain a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for guests and employees. · Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute effective promotional campaigns, driving brand awareness and attracting new customers. · Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Qualifications

and Experience: · IHM / Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management from a reputed institute. · A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the Hospitality industry , with at least 2 years in a leadership role as GM/Unit Head/ Operations Manager. · Past experience in handling Operations of Leisure Hotels and knowledge/experience of Hotels in Orissa is preferred. · Exceptional leadership and Interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. · Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to drive financial results. · Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English. Knowledge of local languages would be an advantage. · Proven track record in delivering outstanding guest experiences and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. · Sound knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management, and industry best practices. · Familiarity with local regulations and ability to navigate the legal framework. · A proactive and result-oriented mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
