About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimize end-to-end warehouse and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in material handling, inventory management, and supply chain coordination to ensure smooth, cost-effective, and timely flow of goods across multiple warehouses and distribution centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize the flow of materials, machineries, and information across the supply chain.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless production support and on-time delivery.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to streamline operations and reduce overall costs.
- Supervise transportation activities including route planning, carrier selection, and freight cost settlement.
- Collaborate with vendors and 3PL service providers to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Oversee daily operations of warehouses, stockyards, and distribution centers including receiving, stocking, packaging, and shipping.
- Manage multi-location inventory levels and sales order processing.
- Regularly monitor and reduce obsolete/inactive inventory to optimize storage utilization.
- Handle quotations, rate negotiations, and finalization of contracts with logistics service providers.
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports and dashboards related to material and inventory management.
- Prepare annual budgets and ensure cost control measures.
- Enforce compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in logistics operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 6–8 years of proven experience in warehouse and logistics management.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and ERP platforms.
- Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to lead teams and manage end-to-end warehouse operations effectively.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with compliance, safety, and quality standards.
