- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market penetration in the agricultural sector.
- Identify key market segments, customer profiles, and competitive landscapes to inform sales approaches.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agricultural clients, dealers, distributors, and industry partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and lead generation activities to expand the company's customer base.
- Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for product enhancements and market differentiation.
- Provide regular reports and insights to management on sales performance, market dynamics, and business opportunities.
- Represent the company in face-to-face negotiations with customers and partners.
- Collaborate with other departments and upper management to ensure effective alignment of marketing and sales objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree from an engineering/technology background preferred with management experience is mandatory.
- Proven track record of successful sales leadership and business development in the agricultural industry.
- Strong understanding of agricultural practices, crop management, and precision farming technologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a geographically dispersed sales team.
