Job Description Summary
Responsible for efficiently managing complete commercial risk management process in the tendering process for the projects.
Intermediate level professional position requiring subject matter knowledge & experience with independent problem handling & decision-making approach.
Core Responsibilities
Complete understanding of the tendering process & bidding requirements.
Ability to identify & evaluate risks & carry out commercial risk assessment (as per internal rules) to obtain appropriate approvals from the Management prior to bid submission.
Ability to develop winning strategy w.r.t. bidding structure & preparation of commercial bid along with Marketing department.
Prepare the DOW and finalize terms and conditions for the Consortium/JV Agreements, Subcontract Agreements.
In depth knowledge of commercial terms and conditions to effectively negotiate with internal and external Customers (domestic & international) and prepare the final contract documents.
Familiarity with taxes and duties, insurance requirement and bank guarantees for domestic and export business.
Familiarity with the terms and conditions of FIDIC, World bank & ADB tender conditions.
Experience in maximizing opportunity while minimizing risk w.r.t. commercial issues.
Handling of ECA coverage for export business.
Effectively manage and control interfaces/negotiations with the internal and external stakeholders, customers, lawyers, tax advisors (domestic and/or international) etc while performing risk assessment in the tendering phase of projects.
Qualification Requirements
Qualified B. Tech./ B. E.- Mechanical or Electrical from Institute of repute.
MBA/Bachelor of Law/Graduation in Economics ( added Advantage).
Minimum 08-10 years of experience in handling similar profile with MNCs, EPC Companies engaged in execution of projects.
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
Desired Characteristics
Attention to details with strong ability to analyse situations and be able to make defensive and proactive strategies.
Outstanding communication (verbal and written) skills.
Ability to influence others with strong interpersonal skills and expertise.
Be able to lead initiatives from time to time.
