JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Purpose:
The Senior Manager Collections will be responsible for overseeing and driving the recovery and collection process for the company's receivables. This role involves ensuring the timely realisation of customer payments, managing escalations, and implementing efficient collection strategies, while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach that aligns with the companys reputation in the real estate sector.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly and annual collection targets.
  • Monitor outstanding payments from customers/homebuyers and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Develop and implement collection strategies tailored for real estate receivables.
  • Coordinate with the Sales, CRM, and Legal teams for payment reminders, demand letters, and recovery actions.
  • Handle escalations and negotiate with clients for the settlement of overdue payments.
  • Ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and forecasting of collections.
  • Oversee issuance of demand notices, reminders, and other legal communications where required.
  • Regularly review customer accounts, highlight risks, and take corrective measures.
  • Maintain compliance with RERA, company policies, and legal frameworks in all collection activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers while ensuring company cash flow targets are met.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven track record in collections/revenue recovery, preferably in real estate or financial services.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
  • In-depth understanding of customer payment cycles in the real estate sector.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, and collection management tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within timelines.
