Job description:As an Intern in the CEO Office at Hashed Emergent, you will play a crucial role in supporting key functions related to strategy, business development, and new initiatives. This dynamic position provides a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, gaining insights into the world of venture capital in the web3 space.

Roles and Responsibilities:1.Strategy:Assist in researching and analysing market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities in web3 technologiesContribute to the development and refinement of the overall strategic vision for Hashed EmergentCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify strategic priorities and implement initiatives to achieve organisational goals2.Business Development:Support the identification and evaluation of potential investment opportunities in web3 startups within emerging marketsAssist in conducting due diligence on prospective projects, including market analysis, financial modelling, and risk assessmentEngage with entrepreneurs and startups, fostering relationships and representing Hashed Emergent professionally3.New Initiatives:Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to conceptualise and implement new initiatives aligned with the fund’s mission and visionParticipate in the planning and execution of pilot programs or experimental projects to test innovative conceptsMonitor and report on the progress of new initiatives, providing regular updates to senior management

Qualifications:Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related fieldStrong interest in web3 technologies, blockchain, and emerging marketsExcellent analytical and research skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendationsEffective communication skills, both written and verbalProactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a teamFamiliarity with venture capital, startups, or the web3 ecosystem is a plus
