The Opportunity:

As a Community Engagement & Communications Specialist , you will be at the forefront of building relationships and fostering meaningful connections between our organization and the communities we serve. This dynamic role involves creating, implementing, and evaluating strategies that elevate and make visible our practices and drive active engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Enrollment & Admissions Management

  • Act as the first point of contact for program inquiries (email, social media, phone, website)
  • Maintain a real-time inquiry and admissions tracker across all training programs
  • Provide prompt, professional communication and convert inquiries into enrollments
  • Coordinate the entire admissions lifecycle: application tracking, follow-ups, confirmation, onboarding
  • Collaborate with the Head of Center and Advancement Manager to achieve minimum and target enrollment for each cohort

Parent & Educator Engagement

  • Support planning and execution of parent events and educator engagement campaigns
  • Liaise with external experts, speakers, and facilitators to deliver expert talks and high-quality events
  • Manage communications with participants pre and post event for feedback and engagement

Community Engagement & Stakeholder Satisfaction

  • Build and nurture partnerships with organizations to expand Kai CIRCLE's network
  • Exercise sound professional judgment, neutrality, and sensitivity in all communications
  • Foster a climate of respect, psychological safety, and clarity in all team interactions

Brand Management & Communications

  • Collaboratively plan and post approved content and monitor social media
  • Contribute to business development efforts (experience in marketing is a strong plus)

Confidentiality & Professional Discretion

  • Handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality
  • Demonstrate discernment and professionalism in formal and informal communications

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in a communications role at a reputable organization
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Growth-driven individual who takes initiative and is eager to advance
  • Experience in marketing (advantageous)
  • Strong event planning and project management skills
  • Proficient in using Microsoft (Word, Excel) and Google Suite
  • Professional judgment, objectivity, and commitment to confidentiality
